Hockmoor House Garden
Hockmoor House is a 14 acre small holding with about an acre and half of garden, a rambling mixture of mature trees, shrubs and beds.
Sometimes we graze our Jacob sheep in the garden - here they are outside Hockmoor Garden Cottage

Self catering and B&B at Hockmoor Garden Cottage
Attached to the side of the main house is Hockmoor Garden Cottage which is available for self catering and B&B. The cottage is a lovely, light, warm and comfortable space, and has been very much enjoyed by all our visitors
Downstairs there is a kitchen dining room and toilet, upstairs a bed sitting area and en suite bathroom with shower. The upstairs room has a triple aspect, south, west and north - overlooking the orchard and out onto Dartmoor.
There is central heating and upstairs there is small wood-burner type gas stove.
Visitors are welcome to use all of the garden and to enjoy our land and woods. There are beautiful walks throughout Hembury Woods which is a National Trust area just 5 minutes away. We are within Dartmoor National Park and the moor is 10 minutes drive. The South Devon coast is 30 minutes away.
The nearest shops are in Buckfastleigh, about 5 minutes drive or 15 minutes walk away. The award winning Riverford Farm Shop is about 15 minutes drive - and stocks a wide range of local and organic foods and wines.
Dartington Hall is 20 minutes away - this is a world renowned cultural centre based in a fine medieval estate which has an excellent pub and restaurant.
